As part of the wider exhibition programme Amongst Other Things which has occurred through hospitals in Edinburgh, Dr Anthony Schrag has been working with a group of Occupational Therapists (OTs) at the Western General Hospital during their lunch breaks to explore notions of 'identity'. The topic emerged from an understanding that the OT profession is not well understood, both within the hospital as well as more generally. As one of the participants writes; 'Working as an OT in an acute hospital can be stressful and busy. We regularly juggle our work with numerous patients, trying to recall many things about each person (diagnosis, family, home situation, concerns, assessment outcomes etc.). Taking part in this project with Artlink provided good headspace to reflect on my job and think about it in a different way.'
