    Abstract
    Context- Estate Agents are continuously having to adapt to new technological trends that are being introduced. Over the past two decades there has been massive technological changes across the industry in Scotland. Therefore, this dissertation aims to explore the technological changes that have impacted the way in which estate agents market their properties. Objectives - The research begins by analysing the technological changes within the property sector and evaluates the technological changes in the way in which estate agents market their properties. Using this as the starting point of the project, the interviews concentrated on the respondent's thoughts and involvements within the property industry. Design- The research was carried out by conducting semi structured interviews taking a qualitative approach to the research. This was in order to give a detailed analysis to the topic. Respondents were chosen from estate agencies and customers, based in Scotland, who had been involved with estate agents for over two decades. Method- Semi-structured interviews were carried out allowing the researcher to follow a list of questions but also room for encouragement for further questions based on each individuals answer. Results- The results show that technology has allowed for the industry to become much more efficient which has had a positive impact on the buying process. Conclusions- The research concludes that technology has greatly changed the way in which estate agents market their properties. It has allowed for the industry to become a lot more efficient and streamlined. Further research into the topic has been recognized with recommendations for further research.
