(2016) As an aspiring actress, what practical exercises and techniques can I use to prepare for audition?, no. 30.
    Abstract
This dissertation will explore, from the perspective of an aspiring actress, the process of preparing monologues and a song for audition. This dissertation seeks to understand what is involved in preparing for an audition including the physical, psychological, emotional preparation. The exercises in the handbook will be adapted from existing written material and reflections on the practical research. The practical and reflective research aims to find out what exercises do or do not help the actress to prepare for audition through rehearsal and a final performance of the two monologues and song. The practical application of this study is to use the handbook as a personal reference for future auditions.
