(2016) Story: The Young Immigrant, no. 24.
    Abstract
Introduction: The purpose of the project is to produce a short film that fits a particular style of a chosen genre. Genres within short film are usually condensed into drama, documentary, comedy and other experiential genres (Cooper & Dancyger), and tend to last no longer that 30 minute. My films fall into the genre of a documentary as it brings viewers into a new world, through the presentation of accurate factual information about a real person and event (Bernard, 2016). In the definition of a documentary Lindenmuth (2010) states that the general definition of a documentary is a means of observing life and interpreting the world but still using the elements of video and film production.
