    Abstract
Homelessness is a prevalent issue throughout society. The literature review demonstrates the multifaceted nature of homelessness and how many issues of society affect the homeless, often in more extreme manners. It also demonstrates some of the pathways both individual and societal which can cause homelessness. The study uses qualitative data in the form of structured interviews which were analysed through a constructivist approach through the lense of interpretivism. The data gathered demonstrated students perceptions on the homeless and highlighted the many themes they view as concurrent with homelessness.
