The work was conducted by the School of Health Sciences, Queen Margaret University College over a period of eight months extending from March to October 2004. A total of ten recommendations were made based on the findings of the projects which was conducted through a series of interviews with Allied Healthcare Support Workers and Allied Health Professional Managers in NHS Scotland and through an postal questionnaire.monograph
