This contribution aims to analyze the outcomes of the recent local elections held on March 31, 2024, by focusing on the DEM Party as an emerging actor across three key themes: coalition and alliance strategies, conflict resolution, and the potential to restore the democratic autonomy model. It is important to look at these fields as the DEM Party has the potential to consolidate its power in Kurdish-populated areas, across Turkey and influence the trajectory of the next Presidential elections.en
